COMPASSOcean View and iNethi - Marius Waries
Marius Waries is a member of the iNethi project and one of the founders of the community wireless network in Ocean View. He invites you for a tour of his community, featuring local art, Khoi cultural heritage sites, a bit of history and the iNethi Ocean View wireless infrastructure. This will be a casual-to-moderate hike of about 90 minutes. Wear good walking shoes.
The tour will begin at 10a from Imhoff Farm in Noordhoek (about 45 minutes from the Protea Breakwater). We will arrange transport from the conference venue (leaving 9a) and back to the conference after in time for lunch (1p).

Itinerary:
9:00 am – Arrive at the Protea Breakwater Hotel, Cape Town (conference location)
9:30 am – Shuttle leaves the conference location
10:00 am – One-hour tour of the Village
11:30 am – Lunch in the Philippi Village Cafe (participants pay for their own lunch) – World Cafe style discussion with entrepreneurs from the village. (1.5 hours)
1:00 pm – Travel back to Protea Breakwater (~30 min)
